Terminal 3 (T3) is the main passenger terminal at Malaga Airport (AGP). If you are flying with airlines like Ryanair, EasyJet, Vueling, Iberia, British Airways or most major European carriers, you will almost certainly use T3.
Check‑In at Terminal 3
Check‑in desks in T3 are grouped by airline and destination. Electronic departure boards show which desks are open for your flight.
- Arrive early in peak summer months – queues can build quickly.
- Many airlines offer online check‑in – use it when possible to save time.
- Bag‑drop counters are usually in the same zone as full check‑in desks.
Security & Boarding Gates
After check‑in you pass through security control and emerge into the main departure lounge with shops, cafés and seating areas.
- Schengen vs non‑Schengen: follow the signage for your destination; gates for non‑Schengen flights may involve passport control.
- Gate changes: check the screens regularly and use our live departures board to stay updated.
Shops, Food & Lounges
Inside T3 you will find a mix of duty‑free, fashion, electronics and souvenir shops plus cafés, fast food and sit‑down restaurants.
- For a broader overview see Shopping & Dining at Malaga Airport (future guide).
- Business and frequent travellers can relax in paid access lounges – details in our Malaga Airport Lounges guide.
Connections to the City & Costa del Sol
T3 connects directly to the C1 suburban train line and airport buses. This makes it easy to continue your journey to central Malaga, Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola and beyond.
