EasyJet is one of the biggest low-cost carriers at Malaga Airport (AGP), with flights to the UK, northern Europe and domestic Spanish routes. This guide covers terminal location, check-in, baggage rules, and practical tips for EasyJet passengers flying from or to the Costa del Sol.

Which Terminal Does EasyJet Use?
All EasyJet flights use Terminal 3. The EasyJet bag drop desks are in the main departures hall — look for the orange EasyJet branding. After security, gates are in the Schengen departures area, typically in the B or C zones.
EasyJet often uses remote stands at AGP, especially in summer. This means boarding via stairs and a walk across the tarmac rather than a jet bridge. Factor in an extra 10 minutes to reach the aircraft.

Check-In Process
- Check in online at easyjet.com or via the EasyJet app (opens 30 days before departure)
- Download your mobile boarding pass — EasyJet is largely paperless
- If you have hold luggage, drop it at the EasyJet bag drop desks in T3 (not the old check-in counters)
- If you are travelling cabin bag only, go straight to security with your mobile boarding pass
Airport check-in desks are no longer used for most EasyJet flights. If you have not checked in online, use the self-service kiosks in the departures hall or check in via the app before arriving.
Baggage Rules
Cabin Bag (Included)
One cabin bag up to 56 x 45 x 25 cm including handles and wheels. EasyJet has no weight limit for cabin bags, but you must be able to lift it into the overhead locker unaided. Bags are checked at the gate with a sizing frame — if your bag is too large, it will be put in the hold and you may be charged.
Small Under-Seat Bag
A small bag that fits under the seat (max 45 x 36 x 20 cm) is only included if you have:
- EasyJet Plus membership
- A FLEXI fare
- Booked an up front or extra legroom seat
On a standard fare, you get the one cabin bag only — no additional under-seat item.
Hold Luggage
Checked bags must be purchased when booking or added later online. Options are typically 15 kg or 23 kg. Airport prices for adding hold luggage are much higher — add it before you travel. Bag drop closes 40 minutes before departure.
Sports Equipment and Special Items
Golf bags, skis, bicycles and other sports equipment require pre-booking as special baggage. EasyJet has specific size and weight limits — check easyjet.com before you pack.
EasyJet Plus and Seat Selection
EasyJet Plus (annual membership) gives you speedy boarding, an extra under-seat bag, seat selection and fast-track security at some airports (not currently at AGP). Up front and extra legroom seats can be worth it for early boarding and more space — popular on the 2.5–3 hour flights to the UK.
